That disclosure supports exact serving arithmetic. A one-chew dog receives half the panel; a two-chew dog receives the printed panel; a three-chew dog receives one and a half times it; and a four-chew dog receives twice it. This arithmetic describes label material amounts, not a judgment that every line is suitable or sufficient for a particular dog.

The inactive list is apple cider vinegar, brewers dried yeast, glycerin, lecithin, natural flavoring, potato, rosemary extract, sunflower oil, tapioca starch, and water. Owners managing fish, pork, yeast, potato, or other dietary restrictions should bring the full active and inactive lists to the fit check rather than focusing on the NR line alone.

What Hollywood Elixir Actually Discloses

Per sachet, Hollywood Elixir lists nicotinamide riboside 60 mg, niacin 2 mg, riboflavin 0.5 mg, vitamin B6 1 mg, vitamin B12 0.25 mg, CoQ10 40 mg, glutathione 50 mg, astaxanthin 2 mg, vitamin C 10 mg, vitamin E 15 IU, resveratrol 15 mg, quercetin 25 mg, beta glucans 50 mg, reishi mushroom 25 mg, spirulina 50 mg, blueberry powder 50 mg, and whey protein isolate 250 mg. The current lot panel describes the NR material as nicotinamide riboside tartrate.

Its other ingredients are chicken flavor, chicken liver powder, yeast extract, glycine, and hydroxypropyl beta-cyclodextrin. Whey is milk-derived, and the product also contains chicken ingredients, so those details matter when a dog has relevant dietary restrictions.

Hollywood Elixir does not list NaturVet’s milk thistle, bone broth, omega-3 EPA/DHA split, zinc, lutein, selenium, or vitamin D. That omission is not a defect in isolation; it demonstrates that the products are designed around different ingredient sets. If one of NaturVet’s unique lines is the reason for use, Hollywood Elixir alone does not continue it.

What the NR Labels Can and Cannot Tell You

NaturVet prints nicotinamide riboside malate 100 mg per two chews. Hollywood Elixir prints nicotinamide riboside 60 mg per sachet, while its current lot panel specifies the tartrate form. A 25-lb dog therefore has a daily printed material amount of 50 mg NR malate from NaturVet and 60 mg from the Hollywood Elixir line. A 50-lb dog has 100 mg NR malate from NaturVet and 120 mg from two Hollywood Elixir sachets.

It would be tempting to call the larger number the winner. The labels do not support that conclusion. A salt or complex includes more than the parent compound, and malate and tartrate are not the same stated material. Without a manufacturer-normalized active-equivalent basis, the raw weights should remain descriptions of each label—not a potency ranking.

The same restraint applies to benefit language. NaturVet positions NR as an NAD+ precursor and uses language around cell regeneration, DNA repair, and cognitive function. That is the brand’s rationale. It is not direct evidence that this finished chew changes those outcomes in the dog taking it.

These are package-purchase figures, not claims about value per milligram or clinical value. Prices, promotions, shipping, tax, dog weight, and label directions can change. NaturVet’s product endpoint also showed a 20% subscription adjustment and Hollywood Elixir had subscription-plan prices, but the principal comparison keeps both sides on the same one-time basis.

What Cost Looks Like in Larger Dogs

NaturVet’s jar price stays fixed while the chew count rises. At 75 lb, three chews daily require 270 chews across 90 days. The owner buys five jars, receives 300 chews, spends $149.85, and has 30 chews remaining. At 76 lb or above, four chews daily require 360 chews, or six jars at $179.82. Those purchase outlays work out to $1.67 and $2.00 per day, respectively.

Hollywood Elixir places every dog over 30 lb in the two-sachet Double tier. The 180-sachet one-time option costs $379 for 90 days, or $4.21 per day. NaturVet therefore remains less expensive even at its four-chew direction using the dated one-time prices.

That result should be stated plainly: Hollywood Elixir does not win the price comparison at these weights. NaturVet Quality Signals
