Dr. JoAnna Pendergrass, DVM

Dr. JoAnna Pendergrass, DVM is a veterinarian and experienced medical writer who develops pet-health education for La Petite Labs, ensuring each article is scientifically accurate, clear, and grounded in preventive care and healthy aging. She earned her DVM from the Virginia–Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Emory University before moving into medical communications.

Dr. Sarah Calvin, DVM is a small-animal veterinarian with interests in dermatology and internal medicine.
